Always attentive to the environment and production processes
Over time, we have obtained a series of certifications that attest to the company’s good practices, with more on the way. Below there's a brief overview.
SQNPI
Genagricola1851 - Agricola San Giorgio - Le Tenute del Leone Alato
The National Quality System for Integrated Production (SQNPI) certifies the application of a series of technical standards specific to each crop and binding phytosanitary guidelines (production regulations), including agronomic and phytosanitary practices, as well as limitations on the choice of phytosanitary products and the number of treatments.
BRCGS
The BRCGS for Food Safety was established in 1998 to ensure that branded products are produced according to well-defined quality standards and in compliance with minimum requirements. It is one of the food safety standards recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an international initiative aimed primarily at strengthening and promoting food safety throughout the supply chain.
ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
It defines the requirements that an organisation must fulfil to ensure continuous process improvement and customer satisfaction.
The standard focuses on operational efficiency, risk management and optimisation of business processes to ensure the quality of our products and services.
RRR
Within the National Quality System for Integrated Production (SQNPI), there is also RRR, the first "Sustainable Area Certification" in Italy. It was created for the wine region of Valpolicella, meaning that only wines and grapes produced in the Valpolicella production area can be certified.
GLOBAL GAP
The GLOBALGAP certification is required by many European companies in the Organized Retail sector to provide consumers and the market with quality products, particularly fruits and vegetables, that are safe and have documented traceability.
ISO 14001:2015
Genagricola1851 - Agricola San Giorgio
ISO 14001:2015 certification recognizes companies that can demonstrate having implemented an effective organizational path toward an "Environmental Management System," starting from compliance with regulations, risk assessment, and various market opportunities.
International Food
Standard
The International Food Standard is a unified control system for quality and safety management, applied at all levels of production where food is processed (food companies or companies that package bulk food products). The IFS Food standard specifically applies to the transformation and processing of products, the handling of bulk products, and activities carried out during initial packaging.
Circular Economy Product Score
The Circular Economy Product Score is a certification that verifies, through a methodology that identifies a series of production parameters related to environmental respect, sustainability, innovation, and resource savings, the level of circularity of a product. Leone Alato has obtained this certification for the Prosecco DOC line from Tenuta Sant’Anna and the Prosecco DOC line from V8+, as well as for the Ripasso Valpolicella Valpantena Superiore DOC Costa Arente and the Amarone Costa Arente.
EQUALITAS
Equalitas is an internationally recognised certification that promotes sustainability in the wine sector.
